Inspiration in Small to Medium Packages

I adopted Coney, my mutt, the year after I graduated from college. When I visited the shelter, Coney’s pen had a tag predicting his adult size. The tag read small to medium. HA HA. Coney is a lot of things, but small to medium is really not one of them. Needless to say, my apartment was, well let’s just say “cozy,” and Coney’s crate monopolized the living space. I tried everything – camouflaging the crate by draping sheets over it, using the crate as a cocktail table, etc. None of these solutions really worked for me, thus the creation of Mutt Huttz.
Now I use luxurious designer fabrics and soft fleece liners to create a warm and cozy spot for your pup that works with the décor of your home. I hope you enjoy your mutt hutt as much as I have enjoyed creating it!

  • Wash Mutt Huttz crate covers separately on gentle cycle in cold water. Lay flat to dry. Warm iron when necessary.

I was hoping to send my own fabric to create a cover. Do you accept completely custom crate cover orders?

We welcome custom Mutt Huttz cover orders. We can do varied sizes and materials. Please email or call for details.

How long it takes for the shipment to arrive?

  • A classic crate cover should be processed within 5 days of when the order is placed, and shipping can take up to 5 business days.
  • Semi-custom and custom crate cover orders take between 1-2 weeks for production. Once produced, shipping can take up to 5 business days.
  • Rush orders can be placed for an additional fee.

Are gift certificates available?

When I order a Mutt Huttz classic or semi-custom crate cover, how do I know what color the fleece liner will be?

Classic Crate Covers – Our fleece liners coordinate with the pictured trim.

*Exception is lipstick red and white kimono, which features red mini pom pom trim and royal blue liner

Semi-Custom Crate Covers – The liner will coordinate with the selected trim. However, if you have another preference, please just detail that in the checkout, and we will take care of that for you!

I want to make sure the pattern that I am considering will match my décor. Do you have swatch books available?

Yep. Just shoot us an email, and we can send you a swatch book for a nominal fee.

What if I need to return my order?

Mutt Huttz by Betsy accepts returns for classic covers and other stock merchandise. If you place a semi-custom order and need to return it, MuttBucks will be issued.

Are your products made in the US?

All of our products are made right here in the United States.

Is monogramming available?

Monogramming is available for an additional cost on semi-custom products (not on classic covers). If you would like monogramming, please specify exactly what you would like on your crate cover/dog bed/floor pillow (capitalization, color, and style), and we can send you an invoice for the additional charge.

What brand of crates do the classic Mutt Huttz fit?
